Making this one short. I'll just list the games and their prices, then give a brief recommend or no.
Main Sale
Alan Wake - Reviewed! $3.99 for the franchise. The game was okay, but repetitive. An acceptable buy at this price but not something to buy first.
Rising Storm - Unknown, but $4.99.
Kerbel - Early access space craft building sim. Tried the demo and thought it was okay, though I've been told its excellent. $16.14.
Farming Simulator 2013 - $14.99.
Metro - Both the original and Last Light are on sale. $3.74 and $13.59, respectively. The franchise is $18.69. Not a bad buy on the first game, cost wise.
GTA - Frankly I thought four was a bit boring, and I quit playing after only a few hours. $4.99 for the base, $7.49 for the full, and $12.49 for the franchise.
Game Dev Tycoon - $4.99.
Injustice - $24.99.
Outlast - $6.79.
Flash Sales
Shadow Warrior - $9.99.
Limbo - Reviewed! A great buy at $2.49.
Space Base DF9 - $12.49.
Tropico - $5.99. Seems like an okay city/country building game where politics matters.
Previously Wizardy for $2.29, BioShock for $9.99, Broken Sword for $16.74, The Stanley Parable for $8.99, Borderlands 2 for $7.49, Grid 2 for $12.49, Agarest for $6.79 and Contrast for $7.49.
Community's Choice
Nihilumbra - $2.99.
Previously ARMA III for $35.99 and Remember Me for $12.49.

That's keeping it short. More of keeping track of prices than giving mini reviews of games due to the frustration of dealing with a phone keyboard. See you tomorrow.
Last time I played it Kerbel wasn't as good as it's hyped up to be, some weird bugs too. Has lots of potential however.
ReplyDeleteStill in development so we'll see how it pans out.
I kind of have a major issue with all of these early access titles, since you're paying for an incomplete product. Kerbel, for instance, just celebrated it's third year in development, but it's been on Steam for about a year. Hopefully they get everything fixed up, and when it's all good and done, I'll give it a try.
